Resources for Ventura County/Conejo Valley, CA & Surrounding Areas, Los Angeles County, and Orange County.

Browse through the Menu to find the type of resource that you are looking for.
Many of the companies and individuals offer services in multiple areas. It is virtually impossible to separate each individual and list them in each category for which they may offer services.
So be sure to look through all the resources within the several categories listed for the variety of service providers; contact and speak with them directly to find out the exact scope of “ALL” the services they provide.

A Personal Note regarding the Resource List, from Gina Giambi Peters

I realize that every family structure is different, every family has different dynamics and every child has different needs. On that note, one of my goals and objectives in providing these resources is that you as a parent have a wide range of QUALIFIED professionals to access and choose from.

There are some people on my list that are my absolute favorites. There are many I personally know nothing about. There are several that I have heard wonderful things about. What I can say to you is that I have NOT included individuals or companies on my list that I have heard consistent negative feedback from parents. In addition I have done my best NOT to include individuals or companies on my list that do not have the proper credentials and are not qualified to offer some of the services they are currently providing; which in my personal opinion is a complete DIS-SERVICE to special needs children.

The one thing I would like to stress is that I, Gina M.Peters, and Center4SpecialNeeds do not in any way recommend or endorse anyone of these resources.

WHAT I DO recommend is that whomever you choose to provide a service to your very delicate and most precious little person; is that YOU MAKE SURE they are QUALIFIED to perform the services they are offering. That they not only have experience, but the appropriate training and credentials to offer the service that they say they provide. In addition that you get parent references. Parents can be the best resources. However, there can be several parents that use a provider and claim they are great, they may even be less expensive then another provider, BUT ARE THEY QUALIFIED. Our children deserve to have experienced, qualified, and properly credentialed providers serving them and it is up to us as parents to make sure we hire the right people. Our kids only get one shot at early intervention or any intervention at all. They deserve to have the best.

What I ask of you is that if you have any serious concerns or complaints with any of the professionals that have been listed, please contact me. Or if you have found that someone on my list is not properly qualified or credentialed to offer the services they are offering, please contact me by phone or email.

I want this to be the BEST source of GREAT information for parents, NOT mediocre.
Our kids deserve the best.

Sincerely, Gina M. Giambi Peters
